Por fin hicimos el trabajo de "murder we wrote" y la verdad me divertí mucho al hacerlo. Me pareció muy interesante que este trabajo haya sido para la clase de cálculo porque pues normalmente en cálculo solo hacemos cuentas pero me gusto mucho que la maestra nos hiciera ver una aplicación del cálculo en la vida real de una manera tan divertida.
En general el trabajo me gusto mucho, me diverti al realizarlo y aprendí.

TOEFL
El TOEFL, lo hice otra vez. La última vez fue al terminar el semestre pasado cuando estaba en el nivel 7 de inglés, del cual debió seguir el nivel 8 pero gracias a Dios saque arriba de 600 puntos y logré que me brincaran un nivel así que me deshice completamente de inglés por fin y pasé directamente a Francés.
Bueno pues el caso es que el Sábado pasado lo hicímos e igual a todos los exámenes me dio mucha flojera pero en éste un poco más que de costumbre porque es muy aburrido eso de que sea con tiempo y tener que esperar a que todos terminen las secciones. La verdad no se como me vaya a ir esta vez pero espero salir bien, ojalá igual o mejor que la vez pasada aunque no aseguro nada.

CENEVAL
El viernes pasado hicimos el examen de Ceneval, estuvo muy largo, tarde más de 3 horas en hacerlo pero lo bueno fue que no estuvo difícil. Espero salir bien, por lo menos en el área de matemáticas porque se me hizo fácil, creo que los repasos con la teacher Linda si sirvieron. =)

La semana pasada estuvimos repasando temas que ya habíamos visto durante toda la prepatatoria para prepararnos para el examen Ceneval, fue un poco complicado porque ya casi no nos acordabamos de algunos temas pero fue divertido volver a practicar.

1. What is the Newton’s Law of Cooling?
Is a law that says that the temperature of an object changes proportionally to the relative temperature that it has. You obtain this change by the differenceof its current surface temperature and the temperature of the environment wereit is. This method is used to calculate the time of death of a person.
2. What variables in your problem correspond with the variables in the Newton’sLaw of Cooling?
The environment temperature that was before and at the moment the body was found.The corpse temperature at the moment it was found.
3. According to this Law, at what time approximately the death happened?
Using the newton’s law of cooling we obtained it was between 8:44 PM and 8:55 PM.
4. How does the room temperature affect the time of death?
By turning the corpse temperature into the environment temperature because whenthe person dies, its temperature starts to decrease or increase until it gets tobe the same as the room temperature so if you use the Newton’s law of coolingyou can obtain the velocity in which the temperature changes then with thetemperature that it has at some time you can determine the time of death.
5. How does an illness (e.g. fever) affect the time of death?
It would be harder to deternmine the time of death because if you had fever thenyour body temperature was high and when you die its hard to determine at whatspeed was your temperature changing because with the fever it remained constantin a high temperature.

Well, if the death occurred in a closed room it is very exact but if ithappened outside it would be harder to be precise.

En lo que va del semestre, que han sido 6 clases, cálculo pasó de ser algo que creí lo más inútil del mundo a algo muy interesante que nos puede ser de mucha ayuda en nuestras vidas. Las primeras clases no le entendía nada y se me hacía aburrido pero poco a poco le voy entendiendo. Me gusto mucho la clase de eso de calcular las ganancias y los costos. Espero que todo se ponga mejor y pueda salir muy bien.

Esta frase me pareció muy interesante y creo que se refiere a que nunca dejemos de preocuparnos por nuestras prioridades e intereses.
Creo que esto empezo con esa frase porque nos querian dar a entender que le hechemos muchas ganas en este semestre y que nos preocupemos por lo que nosotros queramos y que nos importa.
